September show 19th September and Finals 20th September
What an amazing two days we had at our lovely venue in Buckfastleigh. For the happy campers who stayed on Friday night very little sleep was had as the howling winds did their best to sweep the tents away, thankfully, we survived the night!
Saturday’s show saw some lovey runs and congratulations to Linda Willis and Jessie who qualified for the finals and a big welcome to our new competitor. We saw Lyra our youngest handler (4) and our club mascot doing some amazing runs with her dog Brock supported and encouraged by Mum. It was wonderful to watch.
The sun came out on Sunday for our finals, showing off our venue and the beautiful surrounding moors at their very best. All finalists arrived in great spirits and the friendship that have developed throughout the year was wonderful to see. There was a real sense of camaraderie with like minded people supporting and encouraging one another throughout the day. Once again, we saw some fantastic runs and more importantly, lots of happy dogs doing what they enjoy the best.
Finals Results
Congratulations to the following:
Julia Connett & Barney who were awarded the Celebrating Outstanding Achievement cup, which they keep for a year. Julia has worked incredibly hard with Barney and those of us who have watched their progress throughout the year are in awe of what they have achieved together. Very well deserved.
Chris Pearn and Gibson who won the Finals “Champion of Champions”, some fantastic runs from both of you – very well done.
Ami Isaacson and Sonny who won the Reserve Champion. Congratulations to you both.

Thank you to everyone who entered, supported, volunteered and judged helping to make this show such an enjoyable day.
Throughout this year’s shows we have also been raising money for charity. At the end of the year, everyone in our Hoopers/Agility community will have the opportunity to vote through our website for the charity they would like the money to support.
Our next and final show of the year will be on the 18th October. After such a fantastic weekend, we’re already looking forward to seeing you all again for our last show.
